  • Rebuilding and Rooting: A Look at What’s New with Anthony Arillotta

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of growth and reflection. As many of you know, transitioning from “the life” to a legitimate path isn’t just about changing what you do—it’s about changing who you are. Lately, I’ve been focused on sharing that journey and building something that actually lasts.

From the podcast circuit to the business side of things, here is a breakdown of what I’ve been up to.

South End Syndicate: Telling the Real Story

I’ve been spending a lot of time discussing my book, South End Syndicate: How I Took Over the Genovese Springfield Crew. It’s been an intense experience seeing the response. People often see the movies, but they don’t see the cost. This book is my way of putting the truth out there—the rise, the power, and the eventual price of it all.

Whether you’re a true crime fan or someone looking for a story about redemption and starting over, this is the raw, unedited version of my life.

Pazzo Wine: Heritage in a Bottle

On the business side, Pazzo Wine has been taking up a lot of my energy. This isn’t just another label; it’s rooted in a family recipe and a respect for tradition. We’ve been working on getting it out to more of you, and the feedback has been incredible.

It represents the “Next Phase”—taking that same drive and discipline I used to have and putting it into something positive that people can actually enjoy with their families.

Inside the Life & Moving Forward

I’ve also been active on the Inside the Life series and connecting with many of you through various platforms. Seeing the comments and hearing from people who are inspired by the “second act” of my life is what keeps me going.

I’m grateful for the support as I continue to build this new legacy in real estate and as a business owner. It’s a long road, but it’s the right one.

    Stay tuned, more to come.

  • Moving Forward: A Refined Perspective

It’s been a busy few weeks, and I wanted to take a moment to check in with everyone following the journey. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the last few years, it’s that life moves fast, and you’ve got to be intentional about where you’re steering it.Reflecting on the “Inside the Life” SeriesLately, I’ve spent a lot of time looking back—not because I want to live there, but because I want to make sure the full story is told correctly. Seeing the response to my recent segments on Inside the Life and the events at The Mob Museum has been eye-opening. For a long time, people only knew the headlines or the court transcripts. Being able to pull back the curtain on the reality of the Springfield crew and the Genovese family in my own words has been a part of my own personal “rebuilding” process. It’s not always easy to revisit those chapters, but if sharing the truth about the cost of that lifestyle helps even one person choose a different path, it’s worth the effort. What’s New on the Professional FrontWhen I’m not talking about the past, I’m fully focused on the present. My work in real estate has been keeping me on my toes. It’s a different kind of hustle—one that’s built on transparency and legitimate hard work. I’ve been closing some interesting deals recently and enjoying the pace of the market. There’s a certain peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly where your check is coming from and being able to hold your head high in the community.Staying GroundedBetween the book promotion, the podcast appearances, and the day-to-day business, I’ve been making sure to carve out time for what really matters: family and staying focused on the future. The “South End Syndicate” era is a part of history now. Today, I’m more interested in building a legacy that’s defined by where I am today rather than where I was twenty years ago.To everyone who has reached out, bought the book, or listened to the interviews: I appreciate the support. Stay tuned—there’s plenty more to come.

  • Beyond the Syndicate: Life, Lessons, and the Road Back

If you would have told the kid standing on the corner in Springfield forty years ago that he’d be sitting here today writing a blog post as a free man, I’m not sure he would’ve believed you. Back then, the “Life” was everything—the power, the money, the respect. But as I’ve shared in my book, South End Syndicate, that world always comes with a bill you can’t afford to pay.

Lately, I’ve been traveling around, talking to people at places like The Mob Museum and on various podcasts. It’s been an eye-opening experience to see how many people are fascinated by the history of the Genovese family and the Springfield crew. For me, sharing these stories isn’t about glorifying the past; it’s about pulling back the curtain so people see the reality of the cost—to the families, to the community, and to your own soul.

These days, my “crew” looks a lot different. Whether I’m working in real estate or focused on Pazzo Wine, the goal is the same: building something real that doesn’t require looking over my shoulder. It’s about redemption and showing that no matter how deep you were in, you can always choose a different path.

Thanks to everyone who has picked up a copy of the book or reached out on social media. I’m looking forward to what’s next—legitimately this time.

    Stay tuned, Anthony “Bingy” Arillotta
